The city is divided into 7 transport zones, which the land transport network covers completely. The fare will directly depend on the number of intersected zones.
Metro
There are three metro lines in Dubai in total.
- The red one is the main one, and runs through the whole city. Capturing all the main attractions.
- The green leads to the old part of the city, to the bay. The famous gold and spice markets are located there.
- Purple branch, new. And leads to the EXPO2020 exhibition complex.
There are three types of maps in the metro Nol.
Red card. For rare trips only by metro.
Price from 4AED-8.5AED.
Unlimited per day (for travel in regular class cars) — 20 AED.
Silver card. A card for frequent trips with a replenished balance. You can use all public transport, not only the metro and pay for parking.
The cost of the card is 25 AED (19 AED remain on the balance).
The price of trips from 3-7.5 AED.
Taxi
With a taxi, everything is also quite simple. You can call both from the application and stop with your hand:

If you catch on the road, the trip comes out at a fairly reasonable cost. All cars are equipped with a taximeter.
On average, the price for boarding is 5 AED + 1.8 AED (per km)” the cost of the trip is not lower than 12AED.
